Every year, thousands of young men and women come to Mumbai to make it big in Bollywood. They come from all over India. They come from all backgrounds. They all come with one common thing - hope. Starry-eyed, they land in Mumbai and begin a pursuit that will change their lives. Some will make it. Most won't. They know that. They know they are taking a chance, a roll of the dice, a gamble with their own future at stake. They are playing a game of roulette, where the odds are stacked against them; but they also know that the rewards are out of this world.

They will stake everything they have … to play … Bollywood Roulette …

About the Author
Born in New Delhi into an army family, Rahul Bajaj completed his schooling from Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi and then studied Economics and Philosophy at Bowdoin College, USA and at The London School of Economics, UK. After a brief stint as Wall Street investment banker at Morgan Stanley in New York City, he returned to India and soon found himself drifting into the arts. Trained in theatre under Barry John in Delhi, Rahul moved to Mumbai and joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's Acting Lab, following which he became a de facto member of the large fraternity of “struggling” Bollywood actors, who, as outsiders, face an uphill task of not just finding a break in the closed and shady world of Bollywood, but also of just surviving in the dog-eat-dog city of Mumbai. Rahul has appeared as the main lead in UTV's Kabhi Hero Kabhi Zero (Hungama TV) and in Balaji Telefilms' Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (Star Plus), and has also been an active member of CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists' Association, Mumbai).
